Welcome to the Maryland Blue Jays

The Maryland Blue Jays fastpitch organization is dedicated to motivated athletes who aspire to play competitive softball and train year-round.

Since its inception, the organization has grown into one of the most successful and respected organization in Maryland. Our Teams compete in premier college showcases, national tournaments and World Series events .

We also conduct elite winter training programs, participate in college camps and skills clinics. Furthermore we provide extensive college recruiting and player scouting support for our athletes.

The Maryland Blue Jays have successfully helped and will continue to help student-athletes live their dreams of becoming collegiate students first and athletes second.

Practice Locations

The Maryland Blue Jays are headquartered in Bowie, in Prince George's County, Maryland.  While we primarily practice at Blacksox Park in Bowie, we also hold practices at Fairlands Aquatic and Sports Complex in Laurel, MD as well as occasionally other fields in PG County.

 

Our Fundamental Goal

To be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides a high-quality scholar-athlete experience to every athlete. The Blue Jay’s ensure that every athlete is:

  • Instructed using the principles of positive coaching;
  • Imbued as an important part of the team regardless of performance;
  • Provided “life lessons” that hold value well beyond the playing field;
  •  Taught skills, tactics, and strategies of the game, and improving them as athletes.
  • Prepared for potential college opportunities (16U and 18U teams primarily)

The Blue Jays offer outstanding coaching and player development, along with a national schedule, resources, and college exposure.
